During any Dance Tribe event there will be periods of reflection —opportunities to drop in, sense your body, invite your heart into the room, slow down your mind, and be present in the space.

These include the Ritual of Entry during the first 15 or 20 minutes:

Find your own way into sacred space —whether that be via meditating, stretching, hugging friends, rolling on the floor, walking through the space, in stillness or movement, eyes open or closed, come as you are and let yourself ARRIVE.

As well as the Middle Valley after the first peak, at roughly an hour from the start time:

Notice, how’s your energy now, what is your heart asking for, how do you want to breathe, is there an intention emerging for you, a feeling you’re working with, an archetypal aspect of self you’re inhabiting? START Fresh from where you’re at NOW, and HONOR THE JOURNEY.

Reflection also happens during the Closing Ritual after the second peak, around an hour and 45 minutes from start time:

Re-ground, circulate all that juicy aliveness and liberated self-acceptance, notice what you’re taking home with you, what you’re letting go of…

Give your system some time to INTEGRATE THE EXPERIENCE as you meditate in stillness or move in slow motion, and create whatever combination of shapes, gestures, mudras, places you’re touching on your body, and soulful affirmations of love, aliveness and creativity you’re inspired by…
